The booking line is manned 24 hours, 365 days of the year and is the Control Centre for Independent Living Services.

Profile:

Operate a mini-bus service for the use of our local community, which aims to help local people get out and about.
The buses are equipped for people who find it difficult using public transport and are run under a Section 19 permit.
All our buses have a tail-lift for wheelchairs and those that have difficulty in walking or using the steps to get on and off the bus..


Shopper Hopper

This is a door-to-door regular bus service to local supermarkets for older and disabled residents and those who have difficulty getting around. Customers are collected and returned direct to their own home. The drivers assist with bags on and off the bus. This service currently costs just £5 per person for a return journey.


Lunch Hopper
Similar to the Shopper Hopper, the Lunch Hopper provides transport to the Jimmy Macs lunch club held at The Hive Community Centre, Hatfield where a meal is provided at a reasonable cost.
 
Cost
The Shopper Hopper service is £5 per person for a return journey, payable on the day to the driver. The Lunch Hopper is charged in conjunction with the cost of a meal and costs £3 per a person for a return journey.
